Presenting at Ignite Portland Tonight

Tonight I'll be presenting on carbon offsets at Ignite Portland. I am excited, and a little nervous. Offsets are generally really tough to explain, and often result in more glaze than a doughnut.

I have been warned away from doing a detailed explanation by numerous folks, so it will be interesting to test the message in breaking this down for the audience. Since a non-commercial presentation is required, I am going to recommend that the attendees join PDXCrag, a working demo of a carbon cap-and-trade system.

Anyway, more on my presentation later.

Update:

This is an awesome event. I really enjoyed the presentation, and the format, and the reality is. The format is fast and furious - pay attention or you'll get left behind...Here is the presentation!
